The Old Sled Works
has information and a forum on Sleds. It embraces history with links, and
is a must site to visit.
There is a SLEIGH MEET near there held on
the President's day weekend [sunday]. It is held in Forksville Pa but is
contingent on whether or not there is enough snow on that day. There is
a $3. fee which includes a horse drawn bob sled ride.
There are few collectors displaying their sleds on the Internet,
but fortunately there are some such as the Sled Place. This site has
a place to leave comments.
One of my main interests is history, in one form or
another. Here are my other sites dedicated to the genealogy of our
family, rural barns in Northern New York, and a Museum in Northern New
York.
